warranty/repairs

Rodstar rods are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in workmanship and materials for the life of the original registered owner.  The rod must be registered with Rodstar within 30 days of purchase for any warranty claim to be considered. This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the rod at our discretion.  It does not cover direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, accidental, negligence, normal wear and tear, or any other type of damage resulting from the use of the product. This warranty does not cover fire, theft, loss, intentional and/or accidental breakage, modification or customization of the finished rod. Rodstar will inspect the rod to determine if the breakage was due to workmanship or material defect.

For breakage determined to have occurred due to defect, Rodstar will, at the company’s discretion, either repair or replace the product for a Handling Fee of $30.00 (US).

For breakage deemed to be the result of anything other than defect, at the company’s discretion, will be repaired or replaced for a specific fee. A full estimate will be provided for your approval before any fees are levied.

Rodstar reserves the right to determine whether to repair or replace any Rodstar product covered by this warranty and the right to replace any discontinued models with comparable models when necessary. Colors and components may vary between original and replacement parts.

  • Do not hold fly rod above grip when fighting a fish.
